AWS results of their 17th Anniversary show 3/23/19: New Tag Champs,Tribute to Luke Perry

Alternative Wrestling Show from South Gate, California at the American Legion on 3/23/19:

They opened the show with a 10-Bell Salute to Luke Perry who was a big wrestling fan and the father of Jungle Boy (Jack Perry).

Jesse James and Hoss Hogg won the AWS Tag Team Titles from Peter Avalon and Ray Rosas.

Andy Brown pinned Royce Issacs after a piledriver. This was originally supposed to be a 3-Way Match with Jungle Boy but he’s is taking some time off after the death of his father.

Raze (aka Ruby Raze) and Vipress beat Viva Van and Violet Payne when Vipress pinned Van.

WATTS won a 4-Way Match over Hammerstone, Deimos, and JR Kratos pinning Deimos.

Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend beat Lil Cholo and Mariachi Loco when Luster pinned Loco.

Tyler Bateman. Jake Atlas, FunnyBone, and Dominick Kubrick beat Dicky Mayer, Chris Bey, Mike Camden, and Lucas Riley when Bateman pinned Bey.

AWS Women’s Champion Cheerleader Melissa went to a double count out with Shotzi Blackheart. Melissa was originally supposed to defend the title against Ivelisse but Ivelisse had flight issues and missed the show.

AWS Champion Mercedes Martinez beat B-Boy by submission.

The next show is 5/18/19 with Ladies Night 3, an all women show. AWS Women’s Champion Cheerleader Melissa will defend the title on the show. Nicole Savoy vs. Riley Shepard has also been announced.
