ROH’s Parent Company Buys Fox Sports Networks

Sinclair Broadcasting Group, which owns Ring of Honor, has purchased the Fox Sports Network (FSN) regional outlets from Disney for $10.6 billion.

The FSN channels include Fox Sports Detroit, Fox Sports Florida, Fox Sports Arizona, Fox Sports Sun, Fox Sports Wisconsin, Fox Sports North, Fox Sports Ohio, Fox Sports South Carolina, Fox Sports Tennessee, Fox Sports Southeast, Fox Sports Southwest, Fox Sports Midwest, Fox Sports Oklahoma, Fox Sports New Orleans, Fox Sports Indiana, Fox Sports Kansas City, Fox Sports San Diego, and Fox Sports West.

The deal also includes Prime Ticket, and Fox College Sports (FCS Atlantic, FCS Central, FCS Pacific).

F21 and FS2, the Big Ten Network, and Fox Sports brand coverage on the Fox network itself, will remain under the ownership of the Fox Sports Media Group/Fox Corporation.

The Fox Sports Regional Networks will undergo a name change eventually under the new ownership to remove the Fox name.

Sinclair Broadcasting will have the option to add the ROH weekly TV show to the regional network’s programming lineups.
