Former pro wrestler Rick Bognar passed away on 9/20/19 at the age of 49. The cause of death is unknown.

He started his career in his home country of Canada but made a name for himself in Japan with FMW in the early 1990s under the name Big Titan. The group had the wild hardcore reputation that spread to wrestling fans around the world. His name along with The Gladiator, Horace Boulder, Onita, Sabu, Mr. Pogo, and others came across as larger than life figures.

Big Titan won the WWA World Martial Arts Title and the WWA World Martial Arts Tag Team Titles (with The Gladiator) during his time with FMW.

Sabu was friends with him and got him booked on a few midwest indie shows and in ECW in the mid-1990s.

Bognar is best known to WWE fans as the man who portrayed the fake Razor Ramon late 1996 during the Monday Night Wars after Scott Hall and Kevin Nash jumped to WCW a few months prior.

He went to New Japan after the WWF in the late 1990s and then he retired not long after because of neck issues.
