WWE Sydney Results 10/21/19: Xavier Woods Injured

WWE results from Sydney, Australia at Qudos Bank Arena on 10/21/19:

The opening match was WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) vs. The New Day (Big E. and Xavier Woods). Woods suffered some sort of knee or ankle injury and the referee put up the “X” signal for help. Woods was helped out of the ring and limping.

The match was restarted as a 2 on 1. Dash Wilder pinned Big E.

Woods actually Tweeted out during the show that he apparently has a torn Achilles’ tendon.

Buddy Murphy pinned Sami Zayn after Murphy’s Law.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane won a 3-Way Match over The Iiconics, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura pinned Ali after the Kinshasa. Ali chased Sami Zayn into the ring to set up the finish when Zayn interfered. Going after Zayn got Ali distracted for Nakamura to take advantage. Basically the same finish as other houseshows around the world.

WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley pinned Charlotte Flair by using feet on the ropes after she kicked Flair face first into one of the turnbuckles as Flair tried to go for the Figure Eight.

Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan beat Luke Harper and Rowan in a steel cage match when Reigns got the pin after a spear on Harper.
