STARDOM Doubleheader Results 12/1/19: Hazuki’s Last Osaka Events

STARDOM doubleheader results from Osaka, Japan at Sekaikan on 12/1/19:

12:00 show-

Andras Miyagi beat Leo Onozaki by cross face submission.

Natsuko Tora pinned Itsuki Hoshino after a diving body press.

Konami and Zoe Lucas beat Saya Iida and Saya Kamitani when Konami pinned Kamitani after a buzzsaw kick.

Hana Kimura, Jungle Kyona, and Death Yama-san beat Natsu Sumire, Jamie Hayter, and Session Moth Martina when Yama-san pinned Martina.

Riho, Tam Nakano, Saki Kashima, and Starlight Kid beat Bea Priestley, Momo Watanabe, Utami Yamashita, and AZM when Kid pinned AZM.

After the match Kid, Kashima, and Nakano want to challenge for the Artists of STARDOM Titles. Kid said she would also like to face Riho for the High Speed Title.

Jungle Kyona and Konami came out and there was an altercation with Kid which set up a match with Konami and Kyona defending the Goddesses of STARDOM Tag Titles against Kid and Riho.

Looks like a big push for Kid in different title pictures.

Mayu Iwatani and Arisa Hoshiki beat Kagetsu and Hazuki when Iwatani pinned Hazuki after moonsault. Hazuki looked to be bleeding from the nose a bit after.

17:00 show:

Jamie Hayter pinned Leo Onozaki.

Andras Miyagi pinned Saya Iida with a clutch.

Riho and Starlight Kid beat Saya Kamitani and Itsuki Hoshino when Kid pinned Hoshino after the twisting frog splash.

Mayu Iwatani, Arisa Hoshiki, Tam Nakano, and Saki Kashima beat Bea Priestley, Momo Watanabe, Utami Hayashishita, and AZM when Kashima pinned Wantanabe.

Giulia was at the show sitting next to Rossy Owaga watching the event. They were so close together she may as well have been in his lap.

Odeo Tai members gathered in the ring and mentioned that this will be Hazuki’s last time with the company in Osaka as she will be retiring at the 12/24/19 show.

Hazuki was the sole survivor in an elimination match as her team of Kagetsu, Natsu Sumire, Natsuko Tora, and Session Moth Martina beat Hana Kimura, Jungle Kyona, Konami, Death Yama-san, and Zoe Lucas.

Hana Kimura eliminated Natsu Sumire by submission.

Martina eliminated Lucas after the Jager Bomb.

Jungle Kyona pinned Martina.

Natsuko Tora eliminated Kyona by over the top rope rule.

Death Yama-san pinned Natsuko Tora.

Hazuki pinned Death Yama-san.

Kagetsu pinned Hana Kimura.

Konami eliminated Kagetsu by over the top rope rule.

Hazuki eliminated Konami by over the top for the win.

On a somewhat related note, I had a chance to listen to Jim Valley yesterday on Wrestling Observer Live. His hook going into the show was that he might be “breaking up with STARDOM“. The whole thing was in reaction to an item in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter which alleges that Kagetsu and Jungle Kyona won’t be getting pushed under the new ownership.

Of course it was all a swerve by Valley and he said he was just kidding about everything. He then put STARDOM over like he always does and told listeners to check it out.

Valley and Fumi Saito are two of Rossy Owaga/STARDOM’s biggest suck ups and enablers. You will never get unbiased reporting or harsh criticism from those two on the company. There is also rarely any other Joshi news on their Pacific Rim Podcast, or other Observer content featuring them, because of loyalties to STARDOM.

No doubt they’ll be hanging around all the girls on the roster as usual during the big January events in Japan. They’ll also probably be the English speaking broadcast team for next year’s STARDOM USA ppv during WrestleMania Week like they were this year.
