I’ve moved on yet again in the competitive world of pro wrestling news sites.
Pro Sports Extra has brought me in to provide content for them and it’s an actual real job. So many other sites promise to pay staff and contributors and never follow up or tell people they have no budget to pay them.
I’m trying to transfer over the http://www.wrestlingwithdemons.net address. But in the meantime, head to Blogger today for news on the indie wrestling star in Hustler Magazine plus NOAH and Choco Pro 5 results coming up later today (cheap clickbait, I know).
Akitoshi Saito and Masao Inoue vs. Daisuke Sekimoto and Yoshiki Inamura in a Block B Match
Sekimoto pinned Inoue with a deadlift German Suplex for 2 points.
NaomichiMarufujiand Masaaki Mochizuki vs.Masa Kitamiya and Kenoh in a Block A Match
Kenoh and Kitamiya won and earned the 2 points when Kenoh knocked out Mochizuki with a kick and the referee stopped the match.
Episode 4 will be on 4/13/20 at the usual 7am EST.
There was a recent article from Tokyo Sports that claims the DDT Group is looking at changing the name of DDT Universe this year. That could be a good possibility since NOAH is now also so heavily featured in their streaming. It also noted that subscriptions to the service have gone up by 20% in the last month due to the virus pandemic and they might be looking at adding on other promotions from around the world including the USA.
Chocolate Pro Wrestling 4 results from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 at Ichigaya Chocolate Square on 4/10/20 and live on YouTube https://youtu.be/YkprVeBMs64
Mei Suruga vs. Antonio Honda
Honda got the win by a choke submission as Suruga tried to take him down with a backslide.
Yuna Mizumori and BaliyanAkki vs. Emi Sakura and Chris Brookes
Brookes somehow managed to fit through one of the windows and did a diving knee drop on Akki. Sakura later followed up and gave a splash to one of Akki’s legs then acted like she was riding a surfboard standing on his leg.
Brookes submitted Mizumori with a Manji Gatame for the win.
Chris Brookes won the Tropical Yahoo Game over everyone else to win the chocolate prize. He gave his prize to Suruga.
This is Emi Sakura and Antonio Honda’s new project. It’s of course a no fans show with the virus from the cafe that Gatoh Move usually runs at.
Sakura and Baliyan Akki greeted everyone. Antonio Honda sang “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones in English as the roster warmed up.
Antonio Honda vs. Lulu Pencil with Emi Sakura as the referee
Honda got the win by submission after countering an attempted abdominal stretch.
Yuna Mizumori vs. Mitsuru Konno
They went to a 10-minute time limit draw. Good match starting off with submission attempts then hitting finishers for near falls followed up by countering pin attempts several times in a row.
EmiSakura and Baliyan Akki vs. Chris Brookes and Mei Suruga
Brookes and Suruga pinned Akki with a double team jackknife as Sakura was late making the save.
Brookes towers over everyone else on the roster. At one point they did a “chicken fight” spot and he had to crouch down so Suruga’s head didn’t smash through the ceiling. He gave Suruga a basketball after the match and folded up his arms to make a “hoop” for her to use.
They did a Janken Tournament with chocolate as the prize. Lulu Pencil won it.
Gatoh Move has canceled all of their shows that were scheduled from 4/18/20 to 5/6/20, as well as 6/22, 7/5, and 8/17. It looks like the company will be on indefinite hiatus because of the ongoing virus pandemic.
Company owner/wrestler Emi Sakura is also currently out of action with some sort of back injury.
