Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling results from Shinkiba 1st Ring in Tokyo, Japan on 4/13/19 live on DDT Universe:

Marika Kobashi announced she will take some time off at the end of May to focus on her college future.

Rika Tatsumi and Haruna Neko beat Mahiro Kiryu and Pom Harajuku when Tatsumi used a Dragon Sleeper on Kiryu for the win.

Reika Saiki beat YUMI with the Tower Bridge.

Natsumi Maki and Hikari Noa beat Mina Shirakawa and Yuki Kamifuku when Maki pinned Shirakawa after the Backlash.

Yuka Sakazaki and Mizuki beat Yuna Manase and Himawari Unagi when Sakazaki pinned Unagi after a missile drop kick.

Sakisama and Misao beat Miu Watanabe and Raku when Misao pinned Watanabe after the double arm face buster. After the match it looked like the heels were going to attack the exhausted Watanabe but Rika Tatsumi ran in and shielded Watanabe before anything bad could happen.

Miu Watanabe and Rika Tatsumi vs. Sakisama and Misao will take place on 5/3/19 at Korakuen Hall.

TOKYO Princess of Princess Champion and new SHINE Champion Miyu Yamashita came to the ring with confidence and both titles draped over each shoulder.

She did a kick during her introduction as streamer went off and then suddenly both titles were dropped into each of her hands like magic from the quick motion.

Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima, and Marika Kobashi beat Maki Itoh, Yuki Aino, and Nodoka Tenma when Nakajima pinned Aino after a spike hurricanrana off the top rope.

After the match, things got a little tense between Nakajima and Yamashita. Nakajima then made got on the mic and challenged Yamashita to a title match.

The 5/3/19 show at Korakuen Hall should look like this:

STARDOM notes: Toni Storm to return, Iwatani taking time off, Cinderella tournament

STARDOM made several big announcements today.

Toni Storm, who is currently NXT U.K. Women’s Champion, will return to the company in May. She will be on the 5/3/19-5/6/19 shows at Shinkiba 1st Ring and the 5/16/19 show at Korakuen Hall.

Storm made a big name for herself while in STARDOM. She is a former World of STARDOM Champion and SWA World Champion. She won the Cinderella Tournament 2017 and the 5 Star Grand Prix Tournament 2017.

Mayu Iwatani will take time off after the 4/14/19 show due to knee issues.

They added another stipulation to the draft 5-Way match for the 4/14/19 show with Mayu Iwatani vs. Kagetsu vs. Mono Watanabe vs. Jungle Kyona vs. Hana Kimura. Whichever team comes in last place has to disband their entire unit. The first person to get a win in the match gets the first pick, etc.

Cinderella Tournament opening round matches were announced for the 4/29 show at Korakuen Hall:

“The Summit” women wrestling event to take place 8/10/19

SHIMMER, RISE, SMASH Wrestling, and Femmes Fatales officially announced that “The Summit” joined event effort will take place on 8/10/19 in Toronto, Canada at The MET at 12pm.

There will be a meet and greet at 10am.

Tickets will be available soon.

Femmes Fatales 22 in Quebec City on 5/4/19, Interim Championship created, women’s wrestling summit

Femmes Fatales 22 will take place on 5/4/19 in Quebec City, Quebec at Centre Horizon.

Femmes Fatales Champion Vanessa Kraven is still out of action due to a broken leg. The company has decided to create an Interim Championship as Kraven recovers. Mercedes Martinez vs. Kris Statlander will decide the new title on 5/4.

Cheerleader Melissa vs. Lufisto

Priscilla Kelly. Kimber Lee, Veda Scott, Mary Lee Rose, and Alexia Nicole are booked for the show.

There will also be a Battle Royal with Melaine Havok, Cici Galavis, Kira, Azaelle, Lady Yasmine, Sally, Meave O’Farrell, and Mademoiselle Rachelle announced.

There will be an official announcement on 4/12/19 in regards to the women’s wrestling summit that will take place in Toronto on WWE Summerslam weekend with SHIMMER, RISE, Femmes Fatales and SMASH Wrestling.
