Ladies Night Out 9 Doubleheader Results 2/29/20

Ladies Night Out 9 results from Texas City, Texas at World Gym Arena and streaming live for free on the Title Match Network YouTube page on 2/29/20:

The announcers are Matt Topolski and Brittani Nikole.

I don’t know how long they will keep these shows posted up on YouTube. They will eventually be archived for VOD as well on the Title Match Network stream service for $10 a month (or two weeks free for new subscribers).

Matinee Show-

Phoebe vs. The Insidious One

Phoebe got the win with a butterfly submission hold.

Amber Rodriguez vs. Myka Madrid

Nicole said Rodriguez has been gone from wrestling for four years because she joined the military and had a child.

Madrid got the pin after collapsing on Rodriguez and using her feet on the ropes when Rodriguez tried to go for a monkey flip in the corner.

Promise Braxton vs. AQA

This is AQA’s big return to the LNO brand after being out with an injury since Summer 2019. She officially returned to the ring on 1/11/20 at Impact Wrestling’s “Arlington Brawl” live special on Twitch.

AQA got the pin after a running shooting star press. They were given a lot of time and AQA received a hero’s welcome from the crowd.

Uju and Melia Jae vs. Raychell Rose and Vert Vixen

This is Rose’s return to LNO after being out since late last year with an arm injury.

Rose pinned Jae after superkick when Jae accidentally collided into Uju for a second time in the match.

Jae tried to apologize after the match but Uju attacked her from behind as she was trying to leave the ring.

ROW Diamond Division Champion Rok-C vs. Vanity in a non-title match

Rok-C got the pin after a face buster.

Hurricane Pro Women’s Champion Heather Monroe vs. Tesha Price

Monroe got the pin after the michinoku driver.

Jordynne Grace vs. Miranda Alize

Grace got the pin after a Vader Bomb and the Grace Driver.

This was really good. Grace destroyed Alize early on with a sliding lariat then followed up with a jackhammer. The crowd chanted “Better than Goldberg”. Grace nodded in approval and blew them a kiss for saying it.

Action spilled to the outside for a little bit. Grace gave Alize a side slam on the announcers table. Alize recovered and poked Grace in the eye then gave her a DDT on the floor.

Alize hit a suicide dive before Grace could get back in the ring. Back in the ring, she connected with a couple of superkicks.

Evening Show-

Uju vs. Melia Jae

Jae got the pin with a roll up.

Tesha Price vs. Jazmine Allure

Price got the win with a straight jacket choke submission.

Hurricane Pro Women’s Champion Heather Monroe vs. ROW Diamond Division Champion Rok-C in a non-title Champion vs. Champion match

Raychell Rose came out just before the start and hugged Monroe. She sat in a chair at ringside to watch the match up close and held Monroe’s title in her lap.

Rok-C won by Disqualification. Rose tossed in the Hurricane Pro Women’s Title into the ring and Monroe hit Rok-C in the face with it right in front of the referee. Monroe was frustrated and concerned after Rok-C kicked out of the michinoku driver.

Vert Vixen and Jenna Lynn vs. Myka Madrid and Promise Braxton

Braxton pinned Lynn after German Suplex set up by Madrid’s superkick. Lynn was isolated by the heels most of the match then Vixen tagged her back in when she wasn’t fully recovered.

Phoebe vs. Miranda Alize

Alize got the pin after the Shining Wizard.

Amber Rodriguez vs. Vanity

Rodriguez got the pin after a big kick to Vanity’s head.

Jordynne Grace vs. Su Yung in a #1 con. match for the Ladies Night Out Title

Grace won by choke submission in a controversial match involving two referees.

During the match, Grace and Ying were fighting in the corner in a superplex position. The referee counted for them to get off the ropes with a 5 count. When they didn’t listen to him, he got frustrated and powerbombed both of them off the ropes in a tower of doom spot.

A second referee ran out and yelled at him for getting so physically involved in the match like that. He ejected him from the ring and made him go to the back. He took over as the new offical.

Su Yung accidentally sprayed the mist in the face of the new referee when Grace moved out of the line of fire. The first referee then ran back down to replace the second referee who was blinded from the mist.

LNO Champion Ivelisse was not at this show because she is also the SHINE Champion. She was on the SHINE 65 show in New York today and successfully defended that title against Lindsay Snow.

Ladies Night Out 8 Results 11/16/19: First Champion Crowned

Title Match Network’s Ladies Night Out 8 results from Texas City, Texas, U.S.A. 🇺🇸 at World Gym Arena and live on Title Match Network:

Matt Topolski and Brad Gilmore are the announcers. Nancy Perez is the ring announcer.

Promise and Uju vs. Myka Madrid and Viki Vee Vento

Promise got the pin with a German Suplex.

They showed the Ladies Night Out Title on the announcers desk. The main event of Ivelisse vs. Miranda Alize will decide the first ever Champion of the brand.

Kiera Hogan vs. Diamanté

The announcers mentioned that Hogan and Diamanté are a real life couple. The two women revealed it on social media over the summer and it’s been covered in the press. They said the loser may have to sleep on the couch tonight.

Diamanté got the pin.

This was very slow and apprehensive with the story being that they didn’t really want to hurt each other but they both wanted to win the match.

At the bell Diamanté gave Hogan a choice of leaving or laying on the mat for an easy win. Hogan acted like she was going to leave the ring then came back and gave Diamanté a chest bump. (FYI- the two are also on WOW on AXS TV in the main event as a tag team as this match is taking place).

Leyla Hirsch vs. Lindsay Snow

This is billed as a first time ever match.

Hirsch got the pin after a moonsault.

Things were really botched at the end. Hirsch hit her running springboard moonsault. The referee botched the count. It looked like a slow two, and then a three, but the match continued for several more seconds. They brawled to the back after.

Veda Scott vs. Ivory Robyn

Ivory Robyn cut a promo before the match and called Scott a four eyed bitch. Scott said she normally has a lot to say but tonight she’s there to fight.

Scott got the pin after a fisherman suplex off the ropes. She was noticeably limping after the match.

Harlow O’Hara and Alejandra The Lion vs. Vert Vixen and Madi Wrenkowski

O’Hara pinned Wrenkowski after a falcon arrow.

Jazz vs. Phoebe

Jazz got the Ring of Saturn submission win as Phoebe was caught coming off the top rope with an axe handle.

The lights went out after the match and The Insidious One ran out and attacked Jazz and left her laying.

Hurricane Pro Women’s Champion Heather Monroe vs. Riley X Paris

Monroe got the pin after a Michinoku Driver.

An injured Raychell Rose came out to the stage with her left arm in a sling after surgery. She said everyone is going crazy trying to take her place while she’s been out of action. She said she wants a title shot when she returns.

Thunder Rosa vs. Holidead

This is billed as a Last Time Ever match. They are no longer a tag team either as The Twisted Sisterz. Rosa is with The NWA and will continue MMA training. I don’t know what Holidead’s future is.

Rosa got the pin after the diving double stomp to the back.

A long back and forth match. Holidead went for the double unhook buster and Rosa looked like she landed bad on her head. She was okay to finish the match. They both hugged and walked out of the ring together.

Ivelisse vs. Miranda Alize to determine the first LNO Champion

They announced that the WrestleCade show on 11/30/19 in North Carolina will air live here on Title Match Network. Whoever is LNO Champion will defend the title against Kiera Hogan and Diamanté in a Triple Threat.

Ivelisse got the pin after a rolling kick to the face.

Diamanté came out to the ring to congratulate Ivelisse after the match. Kiera Hogan came out to the stage and gave them a stare down.

This was one of those shows where just about everything that could go wrong on a pro wrestling show actually did. The announcers were clearly frustrated and muted themselves at times and made sarcastic comments. They said the only thing that hadn’t happened was someone parachuting into the building or a streaker.

Ladies Night Out 6 results:Kylie Rae says goodbye to LNO

Ladies Night Out 6 results on the Title Match Network from Texas City, Texas at World Gym Arena on 4/27/19:

Brad Gilmore, Matt Topolski, and Barbi Hayden are the announcers.

Jenna Lynn vs. Jewells Malone

Lynn came out dressed in full Hong Kong Phooey type of gear. Hayden said Malone is a hardcore wrestler from Canada. Hayden once defended the NWA Women’s Title against her in Canada.

I compared Lynn to a 1970s classic cartoon and the announcers compared her to mid-90s video games like Mortal Kombat.

Lynn got the pin after a forward roll off the rope into rolling snap suplex.

Lynn gave Malone several martial arts strikes at one point in the match. Malone was bleeding a little from the mouth. I thought she lost a tooth at first. Lynn has “pizazz” as David McLaine would say.

Allie Recks vs. Miranda (Alize)

Miranda got the pin after giving Recks a hot shot on the second rope and following up with a shining wizard.

This was a wild. Miranda jumped Recks from behind as she was making her entrance and mauled her for the first part of the match. Recks made a rebound in the ring and tried to cradle her up for a few near falls. They traded chops and forearms. It looked like the story is Miranda has the capability of being a brawler as well as a wrestler. The announcers questioned why there was such bad blood between the two. With the way this company books, both women came out looking good here and it made you want to see a rematch.

Rok-C vs. Harlow O’Hara

O’Hara pinned Rok-C after the fisherman DDT.

Fans reacted to some of O’Hara’s offense like it was a fireworks show. She had Rok-C in the corner and gave her a hard chop right on the stomach. I could definitely hear it at home. Later, she gave Rok-C a unique looking knee shot to the face and a spinning back fist that looked more like a hard chop to the face.

Kiera Hogan vs. Ivory Robyn

Hogan got the pin with the twisted fisherman suplex.

It started off friendly then thing got competitive as the match went on. They showed each other respect after it was over.

Kylie Rae open challenge segment

Rae came to the ring and said she was back one last time because it was her home. She said anyone who wanted a shot at her could come out.

The announcers mentioned she was under contract to AEW and she will debut on the Double or Nothing event next month.

An eager Jenna Lynn came out to answer the challenge. Raychell Rose then ran out and pulled Lynn out of the ring and rammed her shoulder first into the ring steps to steal her spot.

Kylie Rae vs. Raychell Rose

Rose pinned Rae in an “upset” reversing a brainbuster attempt into an inside cradle.

This was a solid technical wrestling match and evenly matched. They both got in a couple of suspenseful near falls towards the end to where it looked like either could win. The crowd chanted “This is awesome!” The announcers put over that Rose has now made a name for herself with the victory.

Member of the roster and others came out to give Rae a big cake as the fans chanted “Thank You, Kylie!” To show how this brand seems to break a lot of the past and present pro wrestling stereotypes, nobody ended up in the cake. It was a legit nice moment. Rae gave high fives to all the fans at ringside and held up a little boy who couldn’t have been more than 4 or 5 years old. The announcers said he is a regular at the shows.

Su Yung vs. Laynie Luck in a NO DQ Match

Luck pinned Yung after a cutter off the top rope onto a bunch of chairs set up in the ring that Luck covered with ceiling tiles she found under the ring. Some of the tiles broke apart on the impact. It looked really dangerous but Yung appeared to be okay afterwards.

Yung grabbed Luck’s costume unicorn head and forced it on Barbi Hayden at the start of match. Hayden briefly wandered around ringside like she was possessed by it but she rejoined doing commentary like normal.

Jordynne Grace vs. Penelope Ford

Grace got the pin after the Grace Driver.

It started off with a lock up then Grace bealing Ford across the ring a few times. They exchanged a series of sunset reversals. There was a cool spot where Ford hit Grace with a flying body press, but it had no effect, and Ford bounced right off of her. Ford tried to do her athletic handstand moves but Grace nailed her with a pounce.

Grace got Ford into an electric chair position and spun around a few times then dropped her face first into the side of the ring.

Ford got in a crucifix bomb for a near fall.

Ford connected with a missile dropkick for two and then immediately locked in a crossface but Grace got the foot on the rope.

They did a few standing switch reversals and then Grace caught her with the finisher.

The ring announcer said there will be a LNO7 but didn’t give a return date.

You can catch the replay of LNO6 and past LNO here:
