Tokyo Joshi Pro No Fans Results 4/3/20

They announced that Yuka Sakazaki is off the show during the drawing of team names for Team Shoko Nakajima vs. Team Rika Tatsumi. It will be a 10 vs. 10 gauntlet match. No fans are allowed inside because of the virus pandemic.

Team Red: Shoko Nakajima, Maki Itoh, Yuna Manase, Nodoka Tenma, Hyper Misao, Raku, Pom Harajuku, Suzume, Mahiro Kiryu, and Sena Shiori

Team White: Rika Tatsumi, Miyu Yamashita, Miu Watanabe, Yuki Aino, Hikari Noa, Yuki Kamifuku, Mina Shirakawa, Haruna Neko, and Mirai Maiumi

2 count fall rules to win with 5-minute time limits. Both wrestlers are eliminated if it goes to a draw. No time limit for the finals. Winning team gets dinner coupons to Genghis Khan Kirishima.

Mizuki vs. Nodoka Tenma

Mizuki gets the pin after a reversal.

Yuna Manase vs. Mizuki

Manase got the pin after collapsing on top for the cover when Mizuki tried to roll her up. Mizuki bit her finger after the match.

Yuki Kamifuku vs. Yuna Manase

Kamifuku got the pin with a modified inside cradle.

A little bit of a breather in the fast paced action. There are actually announcers for this show and they’re interviewing Tenma at the desk.

Pom Harajuku vs. Yuki Kamifuku

Harajuku got a bit of an upsett win my using Kamifuku’s own attempted double eye poke against her to get the pin.

Mizuki is now with the announcers.

Hikari Noa vs. Pom Harajuku

Noa got the pin after the uranage throw.

Yuna Manase is with the announcers.

Suzume vs. Hikari Noa

They went to the time limit draw so both are eliminated. Good fast paced chain wrestling match.

Itoh sprayed Neko’s hands down with a spray bottle before the match then of course sprayed it in her face and the referee’s face.

Itoh got the submission win with the Itoh Special.

They went to the time limit draw. It was a hard fought match as they each countered each other’s finishers. Aino had Itoh in the Camel Clutch submission when time expired.

Suzume is with the announcers as we await two new people.

Yamashita got the pin after a kick the face.

Neko is at the broadcast table now.

Yamashita gets the pin after a kick.

Misao got the pin by using feet on the ropes after spraying something in Yamashita’s face. Yamashita blindly charged into the loose ring corner pad that Misao untied.

Watanabe got the pin after the Tear Drop. Misao tried to cheat the whole match.

They went to the time limit draw just as Raku had Watanabe in a choke submission hold.

Japan Pro Wrestling Events Canceled In April 2020

This feels like a same old routine with another list of more pro wrestling shows canceled in Japan because of virus pandemic. These are events from the companies frequently covered on this site.

Sendai Girls on 4/22/20. That show was supposed to be second round action of the Jaja Uma Tournament.

ZERO-1 on 4/5/20.

Tokyo Joshi on 4/18/20 and 4/19/20. They will have a no fans allowed live broadcast on DDT Universe on 4/19.

DDT on 4/18/20 and 4/19/20. They too will air a live no fans show on DDT Universe on 4/19.

SEAdLINNNG on 4/20/20.

Big Japan will run a double header still at the moment in Hokkaido on 4/12/20 but the 4/4, 4/6, 4/8, 4/13, and 4/14 dates are all canceled.

Marvelous postponed their 4/29/20 show in Osaka.

Tokyo Joshi Pro No Fans Lineup 4/3/20, More Shows Canceled

It will be Team Shoko Nakajima vs. Team Rika Tatsumi in gauntlet match format with the winner getting dinner coupons for Genghis Khan Kirishima.

Yuka Sakazaki, Miu Watanabe, Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh, Yuna Manase, Mizuki, Mina Shirakawa, Raku, Hikari Noa, Nodoka Tenma, Pom Harajuku, Yuki Aino, Yuki Kamifuku, Suzume, Hyper Misao, Haruna Neko, Mahiro Kiryu, Mirai Maiumi, and Sena Shiori will be divided into the two teams on the day of the show.

Two count rules with five minute time limits. If it goes to a draw, both wrestlers are eliminated. No time limit in the finals.

After announcing several upcoming dates for April just the other day, the company announced yesterday that the 4/18 (in Osaka) and 4/19 (in Fukuoka) shows have been canceled because of the virus. They will be doing another no fans show on DDT Universe on 4/19 now. DDT will also have a no fans show live broadcast on the service on 4/19.

DDT Universe is free for the first month for new subscribers and then ¥900 a month (billed on the 1st of each month).

Tokyo Joshi Pro To Broadcast More No Fans Shows

Tokyo Joshi Pro will have no fans shows streaming on DDT Universe on 4/3/20 and 4/11/20. No cards or exact start times were announced yet as of this writing.

The company was of course supposed to be in Ybor City, Florida, USA originally on 4/3 as part of WrestleCon’s Wrestlemania Week events. All of those shows were canceled because of the virus pandemic.

On 4/11, they were going to run at Itabashi Green Hall in Tokyo but that venue option is canceled because of the virus as as well.

They announced upcoming dates for 4/18 (in Osaka), 4/19 (in Hakata), 4/25 (at Itabashi Green Hall), 4/26 (at Itabashi Green Hall with the women wrestling fans only show), 5/3 (at Korakuen Hall), 5/5 (in Kitazawa), 5/10 (in Osaka), 5/23 (at Shinkiba 1st Ring), 5/30 (at Shinkiba 1st Ring), and 6/14 (in Kitazawa). Tickets are on sale but they pretty much warned that there’s no guarantee they will happen depending on the virus.

Several More Shows Canceled This Weekend In Japan

It’s hard to keep track of all of the events getting canceled in Japan in addition to dealing with my own region under lockdown with the virus pandemic.

ACTWRES girl’z announced their event for 3/29/20 in Osaka has been canceled.

STARDOM canceled their 3/28/20 show in Shizuoka.

Ice Ribbon canceled their 3/28/20 dojo show in Saitama and the 3/29/20 show in Osaka at 176 BOX will now apparently be a no fans show streaming on Nico https://ch.nicovideo.jp/iceribbon

PURE-J has canceled the 3/29/20 show at Kame Arena in Tokyo.

Tokyo Joshi Pro canceled their 3/28/20 show at Shinkiba 1st Ring in Tokyo.

Marvelous canceled their 3/30/20 date at Shinkiba 1st Ring.

As of this writing, the Sendai Girls event featuring the rookie tournament will still be taking place on 3/28/20 in Miyagi. However, at this rate, it wouldn’t surprise me if they cancel too at the last minute.

The fans were allowed back in with an attendance of 210.

Rika Tatsumi pinned Sena Shiori after the Twist of Fate.

Yuna Manase, Mina Shirakawa, and Yuki Kamifuku beat Pom Harajuku, Haruna Neko, and Mahiro Kiryu when Shirakawa pinned Harajuku after the Implant DDT.

Hyper Misao pinned Nodoka Tenma with a La Magistral cradle.

Maki Itoh and Raku beat Miu Watanabe and Suzume when Raku pinned Suzume after Doctor Yellow.

Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki, and Hikari Noa beat Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino, and Mirai Maiumi when Mizuki pinned Maiumi after a diving foot stomp.

Miyu Yamashita pinned Natsumi Maki after the Crash Rabbit Heat.

There was another tournament theme with the roster divided up in three teams of seven in a variety of different matches.

Maki Itoh (Team Red) pinned Sena Shiori (Team Blue) after a DDT for 2 points.

Rika Tatsumi (Team Yellow) pinned Mina Shirakawa (Team Red) after the missile hip for 2 points.

Natsumi Maki (Team Yellow) pinned Mahiro Kiryu (Team Blue) after the backlash for 2 points.

Hyper Misao (Team Blue) won a 3-Way Match over Pom Harajuku (Team Yellow) and Miyu Yamashita (Team Red) for 2 points.

Yuna Manase and Hikari Noa (Team Blue) pinned Nodoka Tenma and Suzuki (Team Yellow) when Noa pinned Suzume after the uranage throw for 2 points.

Shoko Nakajima and Miu Watanabe (Team Red) beat Yuki Kamifuku and Mirai Maiumi (Team Blue) when Nakajima pinned Maiumi with a Northern Lights Suplex for 2 points.

Yuka Sakazaki and Raku (Team Yellow) beat Mizuki and Yuki Aino (Team Red) when Sakazaki pinned Aino after the Magical Girl Splash for 2 points.
