WrestleCircus results 6/23/19

WrestleCircus results from Austin, Texas at 800 Congress and live on Twitch on 6/23/19:

Rob Sanderson and Colin Delaney are the broadcast team.

Ring announcer Louden Noxious said Colt Cabana is injured and was not at the show.

AeroStar vs. Teddy Hart vs. Low Rider vs. Daga

Daga pinned Low Rider. Low Rider was a replacement for Myron Reed who had travel issues.

Will Allday and Alex Gracia vs. Anthony Greene and Scarlett Bordeaux

Gracia and Allday pinned Greene after Allday used Gracia as a swinging battering ram while she was in a wheelbarrow position.

David Kidd came out to the ring for a match. The match never happened as Jordan Len-X returned to the company and attacked Kidd with a chair.

Len-X said he wanted to face Colin Delaney as a replacement for Colt Cabana. He said he would destroy Kidd if Delaney didn’t answer the challenge. He hit Kidd with the chair and gave him a piledriver until Delaney made the save.

Colin Delaney vs. Jordan Len-X

Louden Noxious subbed on color commentary.

Delaney got the pin with a small package after a match restart.

It was apparently a botched finish. Len-X botched a Razor’s Edge type of move and went for the pin. The referee counted but Delaney got his hand on the bottom rope. The time keeper rang the bell as if Len-X won. The referee waived it off and restarted the match.

They brawled after to the outside of the building and Delaney ran Len-X off.

Teddy Hart joined the broadcast on color commentary.

Sideshow Champion Gentleman Jervis vs. Sami Callihan

Jervis pinned Callihan after backdropping him out of a piledriver attempt onto a pile of chairs and the Sideshow Title that Callihan placed in the middle of the ring.

Intermission with viewers on Twitch getting to see a documentary about “The Circus Fam” with comments from company co-owner Al Lenhart along with Scorpio Sky, Alex Gracia, Kevin Condron, and the loyal WrestleCircus fan base.

Colin Delaney is back on color commentary.

JT Dunn vs. Jake Atlas vs. Dezmond Xavier in a 3-Way Match

Xavier pinned Atlas after a pele kick. Fast paced and nonstop action that earned a standing ovation.

Tag Champions Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel vs. Logan Riegel and Sterling Riegel vs. Marq Quen and Isaiah Kassidy

Wentz and Miguel get the win by pinning Kassidy.

July 28 is the next show.

Orange Cassidy vs. Peter Avalon

Leva Bates came out dressed exactly like Cassidy and she acted like him with the slow motion body language.

Avalon submitted Cassidy to a half crab.

Fun match with an odd finish. Cassidy rolled out of the ring then Bates rolled in to take his place toward the end. She rolled up Avalon for a near fall. Avalon and the referee then saw it was her and not Cassidy in the match. The referee tried to get her out of the ring. Cassidy spit orange juice in the face of Avalon then hit a Canadian Destroyer but he referee was still distracted by Bates. Cassidy then went to the top rope to try to go high risk but Avalon shoved him to land him on the top turnbuckle and then dragged him off the ropes to apply the half crab.

There were a couple cool and innovative spots by Cassidy during the match. He gave Avalon a slingshot into the top turnbuckle and a DDT all without removing his hands from his pants pockets.

Ringmaster Champion Scorpio Sky vs. Tessa Blanchard (Lady of the Ring Champion)

Sky got the pin after the TKO as Kevin Condron and The Classier Man repeatedly interfered for Sky.

Very good match. Tessa was slow to get up after but she showed respect back to the crowd who gave her a standing ovation and chanted “Thank You, Tessa!” All of a sudden someone ran in the ring and blindsided her. It was Sami Callihan. He gave her a piledriver then left the ring. Daga came out to check on her as the show went off the air.

WrestleCircus gives away Cassidy vs Jervis for free

WrestleCircus posted the Gentleman Jervis vs. Orange Cassidy match for the vacant Sideshow Title on YouTube. The match took place at their return event on 5/12/19.

The company said there was a lot of demand for them to release the match for free. It had a lot of people talking in both positive and negative ways.

I personally thought it was a truly funny match that had me laughing a few times. I am normally not a fan of what passes for modern pro wrestling comedy. https://youtu.be/_ILMpJOzUXM
